Alexander Springs

A family of migratory geese canoodles about along Alexander Springs in the Ocala National Forest, a virgin nature preserves of 663 square miles made up natural temperate habitats.  With forested scenery and abundant crystalline waterways, this paddleboard destination and the recreational area offers camping, swimming, SUPing, scuba diving (for certified divers) and for paddling about swimming and paddling sports are optimum with a gently sloped beach leading into the gently sloped spring basin.  For the hiking frame of mind, there are birding and wildlife sightings that include raccoons, bears, a diverse variety of birds, and yes! alligators. The Ocala National Forest is located a stone’s throw from Eustis in north-central Florida, spans four counties and 383,000 acres.
